On Friday 05/01 (Labor Day), tradition marks Florianópolis: the official opening of the 2026 Mullet Harvest Season, with Mass, procession, blessing of fishers, and community coffee in the island’s fishing communities (Campeche, Moçambique, and others). Free activity, outside Itacorubi but part of the city’s cultural calendar.
